You can enjoy Warren Aspinall's tripping over players' names etc, but his punditry is very, very good. He tells it how it is, forgives the odd mistake, but isn't afraid to lay into a player if he thinks he isn't performing. One player up front seems to have featured quite a lot in his comments.

Don’t be silly. Friendlies have never been free.

Granted the club will have lost a lot of money - and at the other end of the argument, fans are very touchy about being 'fleeced' as they see it. What would you suggest for a compromise which might satisfy both sides? Log in, pay and view for a fiver maybe? - that would have got me in.

If the club streamed tonights game live, what incentive would there be for paying public to buy a ticket for the game.

We're a business, and one who's lost a lot of money recently.

Some ridiculous entitled posts above.

The time when you could watch every game on your sofa is now gone. Things are back to normal. Pay up and and turn up or listen on the radio
