That feeling is indescribable, knowing full well that we’ve RUINED their week probably their month. We own the bragging rights. They simply don’t have anything to cling to anymore. That result has been coming for years, and my goodness I’ll enjoy it for a long, long time.

They may have put 5 past us with no return a long time ago now, but today's result, plus how many times we've completely dominated them over recent years albeit not getting the result we deserved, plus the implications today for their ongoing protests against the board/Roy and seeing the little 'no ambition' etc banner in the away end, plus the fact half of them left before half time and their being silent the entire game with no fecking drum to chant their little wooaahhh chant to, plus the hilarity over Olise pointlessly coming on and then off again crocked for a while longer than he would have been, plus our current scenario what with still being in the FA Cup and Europa League, makes this win so so so sweet - will take a lot for the bragging rights to turn after today

We’ve ruined their season. They’ll probably finish in their customary lower table position on 40 something points by May, but seeing us into the last 16 of the Europa and destined for another top-half finish with a young team brimming with potential must be horrendous for them to watch, especially after having reached the PL 4 years before us.

And that’s with making profits that’ll probably be in region of 100m for this season and last, so in a very strong position going forward.

My darkest day watching the Albion was the 5-0 defeat at Selhurst. The humiliation that day was torturous. I’ve been waiting for us to properly turn them over ever since and it seemed like I wasn’t the only one.
When the 3rd went in and 30,000 of us sang ‘You’re f***ing shit’ at them that horrible day at Selhurst many years ago stopped hurting anymore.

I feel like I’ve banished the 5-0 and the play offs now. They hurt and I’ll never forget but f*** me we’ve bounced back in style. Even managed to completely turn the tables on the Murray thing by getting him back - only they could have one up on us then let us do the same back to them
