Would have been better to do it as the distance from the town's main train station that away fans are likely to arrive into.

Why? If you were at Brighton station you would get the train to Falmer rather than fretting about how far away the ground is.

Old Trafford is nearer to 4 miles from Manchester than the 2 half on the graph. Good effort though.

Would have thought Colchester's would be a lot further than that, seemed like miles last time I went there

I also googled. Manchester to old Trafford and it said 6km about 3.7 miles. I stand corrected though.
