Exactly whatever it was maybe a touch on his left foot which in turn made his right foot suddenly stop dead as if hit by a brick wall.

I know what you mean but, to be fair, most professional footballers cheat these days. It's almost unwatchable for me.
Add to that what appears to be increasing crowd misbehaviour making it even worse for me.

I think the German did make contact with Kane there, which caused Kane to clip his own leg. No other point for him to go down as he was 1 on 1 with the keeper otherwise.
