JAP is a glaring omission from THE LIST of (all-time) Albion nationalities.

So its a YES from me.

He'd signalled his intentions back in April.

Hertha Berlin midfielder Genki Haraguchi is chasing a move to the Premier League.

BILD says Haraguchi has rejected new contract talks with Hertha, despite now being well inside the final 18 months of his current deal.

The reason is due to ambitions of wanting to move to England this summer.

The Japan international's agent, Chiel Dekker, is busy drumming up business across Europe for the player and has circulated his name around England.

For the moment, no offers have arrived, though Haraguchi retains hope of interest arriving closer to the end of the season.

Says he's a winger/striker.... better hope its the winger, as 4 goals from 70 appearances for Hertha Berlin sounds like an upmarket Japanese Billy Paynter

This very season: "Haraguchi has netted only once for his Bundesliga side so far this season, but in November he became the first Japan player to score in four consecutive final-round qualifiers in a 2-1 win at home to Group B leaders Saudi Arabia."

I believe he's out of contract.

Doesn't sound like it.

Judging by recent history on transfers if it's been leaked it's now unlikely to happen !!!
