A leopard from my hols a couple of weeks ago, its kill was tucked away on another branch. Using an old D90, need to upgrade and learn what I am doing as I find photography really enjoyable

Yeah, currently got it sitting on a D810

Would have thought you'd want the longest zoom possible in the Ukraine

Going back to the Chernobyl exclusion zone, mainly for a bit "Urbex" photography, could have done with going wider a couple of times than my 24-70 would allow

I know there are magnificent photos in here but I thought I would post this.

Whist doing my classics courses, this was one thing that fascinated me. How does a sculptor manage to carve a piece of marble to make it look like it is translucent and shows the " skin" underneath the subject? There are other such examples, but this statue, Hera, the sister of Apollo at the national archeological museum in Naples is fascinating.

I will crop this to take out the fingers bottom right, but this is sunrise over Mt Vesuvius which actually gives the impression it is erupting. We will get this printed as a canvas.
