I often wonder why there's very little, if any, inter breeding in wild birds.
The really funny thing is that I was so fixated on the ducks that I didn't even see the Otter last night. It's only this morning, re reading posts that I realised there was an Otter thereI'm not that good on ducks. I reckon your summary is pretty good.
