Surely you can see how cutting NI will sort out everything you have mentioned?? It's completely obvious how it's going to help! Just have some faith in them and it will all be fine. The reasons for the things you've pointed out were completely down to Covid and [insert other excuses here, as I've forgotten most of them]. Just read their manifesto, you're going to be rewarded for your hard work and have more money in your pocket!!
I think they must be diverting the money for the failed HS2 towards reopening the Beeching lines which is a really positive thing. Bearing in mind the Bluebell railway has now reached East Grinstead there could be a lovely commute. *Disclaimer, I'm s**t at Geography, know nothing about train tracks and Uckfield station is probably no where near Sheffield Park or Horstead Keynes* :lolol:
Putting 2 and 2 together (making 5, I know) but lessening NI, and telling self employed people they can have a pension without paying Class 4 contributions.

The Tories have also dropped hints that State Pensions could be means tested, and attempted a Bill to examine pensioner’s bank accounts.
Steathily, the State Pension is called a benefit and there are ‘too many people on benefits’. The public will be steered towards taking out private pensions, which will be sold by Tory donors. Step by step, the Tories always take a long term view.

Blimey heck, not seen an edited C-bomb littered rant on a par with that since the innocent suggestion that Chrissie Hynde looked a little green about the gills at Glasto.
Power to your elbow Sir.
So what’s your answer then? Don’t like hearing some facts?

To be even handed, I am concerned about the claims from Scotland (including Stephen Flynn) about Starmer’s GB Energy.

The Tories are now using ridiculous scare tactics to try to get the vote... just heard Geoffrey Cox MP state " We are sleepwalking in to a one party socialist state " !!!!! I noticed that Sunak intimated that there was a kind of dark plot for Labour to seize power in his manifesto launch. Obviously there is no plot or plan and i'm quite convinced that Starmer is considerably less likely to morph in to a dictator than Farage or the Right wing Tories.

Desperate times but remember this, which party was trying to push a Bill through the Commons that would severely restrict the right to protest ? Was it not Suella Braverman that wanted to give the police powers to break up ANY demonstration it wished ? Remember this when you vote !

I don't think you're coming up with 5, it's probably a reasonable assumption. It's certainly something that hadn't occurred to me, but makes complete sense! :(

Yes that is worrying. I don't actually object to private investors per se, but how the pie is sliced up and who gets what, is a major detail that appears to be missing.

£500 is not life changing, but how do you know he didn't have more bets?

How much money is sufficient for corruption?

I don't, but any bet more than an Ayrton raises alarm bells nowadays.
In the good old days, runners all over the region and beyond had to walk in and lay cash on the counter with pinpoint synchronisation...thems were the days.

Nothing to see there, his dog chewed up his calendar & that was the date that was visible so he took it as a 'sign'.
More importantly he's very, very, very sorry. He made a mistake, we should all move on, forget the past & look at the wonderful things in the Conservative manifesto. The Conservatives are the only ones who will cut your taxes and give you a few quid extra a month to put towards a Sky subscription! 🤦‍♀️

A ton? To win a monkey?

Hardly.life changing is it?

If I had inside info I'd have had many bets nationwide to make it worthwhile.
Folk bet on moody nags and mutts each and every day, nowt new here.
Own up to a minor indiscretion that will be found out, in order to obscure the major indiscretions? He could have placed other bets, we don't know.

How?

Would have been reported by the whiter than white online bookies by now.

If the state pension is a benefit, the NHS and state schools are benefits. I had an argument on here recently about this.
