West is BEST
Wish nobody was bothering with a campaign.

I’d happily not hear another f***ing peep out of any of them until it’s all over.

Especially the Tory’s and that simpering fucker, Sunak.

They’ve had 14 years to show us what they’ve got. We get it. Shhh.

Lee Anderson was elected as MP for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire as a Tory in 2019 - but defected to Reform UK earlier this year.

Lee Anderson has taken a brutal swipe at his Tory opponent in Ashfield - who previously ran as a candidate for the Brexit Party.

The Tories are going to re-open the Beeching lines - Uckfield and Lewes connected at last!

They really have found the magic money tree
Ah so here we are again, if in doubt claim you’ll reopen the Uckfield to Lewes line

This cabal have the whole of Britain collapsing around their ears, the NHS, Immigration services, Education, Courts and the Judiciary, a crisis about to explode in Prison places, Housing, Basic Water infrastructure, Roads Infrastructure, Elderly care, Cost of living, Industries dying on their arses etc etc etc

So, the answer is to promise to make tax cuts in a few years time after bringing in the highest taxes in history. Is this SERIOUS ? :shootself

It is. It's like getting the band back together. As HWT would say, Thick Lizzy ...
... and still the polls don't budge. We could suggest a song:

No, because tax cuts aren't really interesting the electorate. Most people are looking at the state of the NHS and social care.
Indeed

Starmer and his coterie will have these sorted by Christmas.

The number of claimants, the ageing population, the levels of bureaucracy and broken business model.

Piece of cake.

I'm not sure anyone thinks Labour are the solution, but the vast majority of people know who the problem is.

That's the story of this election -> Better the devil you don't know.

You keep on telling us, we've all got it, you're a winner and anyone who threatens your cabal are dreadful

You've got what you have wanted at every step and are completely responsible for the issue you outline above and then try to belittle. Brexit, Boris, you've won every time, but now that your wins have turned out to have totally f***ed the vast majority of the country and it's people at every turn, I suspect that I'm not alone in thinking your funny one liners are simply confirmation you're a stupid, cap doffing c***.

Unless of course, you are a major investor in one of JRM's disaster capitalist funds or have picked up a few dodgy PPE contracts from this cabal you revere so much and that this complete clusterf*** you've helped to get us to is intentional. In which case, people may think you weren't stupid, but merely a c***. The fact that, like so many similar accounts before this one, you spend so many hours on NSC every day makes me think that is somewhat unlikely

Surely you can see how cutting NI will sort out everything you have mentioned?? It's completely obvious how it's going to help! Just have some faith in them and it will all be fine. The reasons for the things you've pointed out were completely down to Covid and [insert other excuses here, as I've forgotten most of them]. Just read their manifesto, you're going to be rewarded for your hard work and have more money in your pocket!!
I think they must be diverting the money for the failed HS2 towards reopening the Beeching lines which is a really positive thing. Bearing in mind the Bluebell railway has now reached East Grinstead there could be a lovely commute. *Disclaimer, I'm s**t at Geography, know nothing about train tracks and Uckfield station is probably no where near Sheffield Park or Horstead Keynes* :lolol:

The LibDems pledge to return to the EU might prove to be a masterstroke in these electoral conditions - certainly in constituencies where they are in a fight with Labour for the seat. I just want the Conservatives out, and am really quite unimpressed with Labour in this campaign. I doubt I'm alone. Now finally the LibDems - fresh from Daisy Cooper's decent showing in the TV debate - are actually standing for something different. Sensible tax promises and a commitment to the EU - both absent from Labour.

In my constituency, Labour and LibDems got 10355 and 10320 votes, with the Tories way out in front on 28665. In a genuine 3 way fight for the seat, I felt I needed a reason to vote for anyone other than Labour. Now I've got one.
And it allows Labour to not fight on this subject, if Labour don’t get enough seats and they have to form a coalition with the Lads part of the deal could be 2 of the most important political decisions happening, putting proportional representation in place (which I read an article last year that said it would mean never having a Tory government again - it’s actually in Labour’s best interest) and a rejoin vote which I expect would be won.

Glad the LD's have moved a bit on Europe, they won't lose any votes over it. Breaking down trade barriers to Europe is the easiest way to get grow going.

I'm with you Labour are disappointing, just way too cautious. That said if I was in a seat they could win I'd still vote for them, just anything to get rid of the Tories so much damage.

Blimey heck, not seen an edited C-bomb littered rant on a par with that since the innocent suggestion that Chrissie Hynde looked a little green about the gills at Glasto.
Power to your elbow Sir.

In a not impossible (but still unlikely) situation where the Lib Dem’s form the official opposition we could see 6 questions a week at PMQs asking about rejoining the single market. That could shift the dial significantly quickly.

Said it before but I genuinely don’t think anyone has really understood the full implications of the non-zero chance that the Tories finish (at best) third in the election. The whole rules of the game change (and have to under the media’s own rules).

I don't think that since the early 18C the Tories have been anything other than leading the government or the official opposition. It would be transformational. It'd also give the government and official opposition the opportunity to transform politics in the long-term which I suspect they'll blow.
