That's pretty much exactly me too.

I just commented at home about how, normally, it will be getting light and the birds will be starting to sing. I'll be majorly wilting and turn in for 2-3 hours sleep. However, it will be dark throughout for this one.

I'm meeting [MENTION=236]Papa Lazarou[/MENTION] in the pub for a few beers and to watch the big exit poll reveal and the immediate fallout of that, so I'll not be joining the party here until a bit later.

Play nicely!

I've just opened a beer. I thought it was too early, given the length of time to go, but boredom and intrigue in equal measures have just kicked in.

Early beer means an increased likelyhood of early cheese and early bed. I might need waking up with a Bercow Bellow.

Not feeling confident that the country has the appetite to see off this hideous government, so I’m going to ignore it all, go to bed as normal, and have a lie-in, to hold onto to the blissful delusion of a progressive alliance, for as long as I possibly can

I was planning on turning in after the exit polls, but

I've just been texted the result of the exit polls. I'm not allowed to post the exact details online, but I can reveal that Labour have taken one hell of a beating.

I wasn’t going to booze, after a few pints at lunchtime. Your comment has reminded me of the bottle of lovely Hendricks sitting in the kitchen.

Exit polls suggests Tories on course for majority of 86

Huw Edwards is reading out the exit poll results. Here are the main ones.

Conservatives: 368

Oh yes it was [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
I thought I might get in trouble if I was seen to be releasing results early, so used the 'banter' defence.
