Not as promising as it first seemed, now the Geordie seats are coming in, but it's what happens in the marginals that counts, and the exit poll can't be relied on for those.

Hooray, the absolute genius Neil Hamilton. Really lovely to see him again - would love to shake his hand and hear his thoughts on architecture and also morality.

Did you buy enough cider and crisps Bozza?

No, I'm massively light on cider.

However, I do have about 8-10 bottles of very decent gin, plenty of Fever Tree and ice. I appreciate your concern, but I reckon I'll muddle on through.

An anti-Tory Guardian speaker on ITV just said that the Greens pulled candidates from 50 marginal seats, and that the non Tory parties ran non-aggression pacts in masses of other marginals.

The aim to destroy the Tories.

If that plan has worked, then the Newcastle/Sunderland seats are unrepresentative and by Monday Corbyn will be PM.

IF we ended up with a hung parliament and there was no way that the potential/realistic coalitions could get enough seats together, would this be so bad? Total chaos or maybe all parties would have to grow up and learn to work together for the interests of the country rather than themselves?
