Exactly. How many times has May or one of the other Tories given the answer "we won't reveal that until after the election" or "we will look into producing a report on that after the election"!?
They clearly wrote it in the back of a fag packet and just assumed any ild crap would do as they were bound to win.
I would much rather go for financially maybe, according to some, a bit loose than can't be an actual ****.

Money for nothing brigade you mean. Take take take. How do we pay for it ?.

Trust us works better when you haven't got Boris Johnson blowing kisses at another politician when he thinks he's off air - among other worse things.

They smugly think they have it in the bag.

I haven't decided who to vote for but I'm leaning towards labour because of the campaign (or lack of) they have run.

What a ridiculous assertion - the Tories have been running a very successful economy (despite the mess left by the Labour government) for the last 7 years - and would clearly continue in a similar vein.

I bet this poster was one of those that blamed the GLOBAL crash on labour...

A story that purported to illustrate the way the tax system works. It concerns 10 drinkers in a bar who decide to settle their £100 weekly beer bill roughly the same way we pay our taxes. So, the first four men (the poorest) paid nothing; the fifth paid £1; the sixth £3; the seventh £7; the eighth £12; the ninth £18; and the 10th man, the richest, paid £59.
Then the barman decided to give the group a £20 discount for being good customers so they could spend it in other ways. The group wanted to continue to pay the new £80 bill the same way as before. While the first four men still drank for free, the other six divided up the £20 windfall by following the progressive principle of the tax system. So the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing, making a 100 per cent saving; the sixth man paid £2 instead of £3 (a 33 per cent saving); the seventh man paid £5 instead of £7 (a 28 per cent saving); the eighth £9 instead of £12 (a 25 per cent saving); and the ninth £14 instead of £18 (a 22 per cent saving). The 10th man paid £49 instead of £59 (a 16 per cent saving).
The men then began to compare their savings. “I only got £1 out of the £20,” declared the sixth man. He pointed to the 10th man, “but he got £10 – the wealthy get all the breaks!” “Wait a minute,” said the first four men, “we didn’t get anything at all. This new system exploits the poor.” So the other nine men surrounded the 10th and beat him up. The next week he didn’t show for drinks, so the nine sat down and had their beers without him. But when they came to pay, they discovered they didn’t have enough money between them to pay even half the bill.

Exactly.

I watched JC give an interview to the BBC this morning and to paraphrase him he first praised the bravery of the paramedics then the fire brigade Oh and the police.Having watched the BBC news a few minutes ago the JC interview
was not even in the news though the mayor of London's was.The head of the police praised the extraordinary bravery of unarmed police officers who went to confront the terrorists plus members of the public before mentioning the Paramedics and the police.Yes all were brave but the ones on the front line deserve better than JC would admit .
How many here would tackle knife wielding thugs who had,for all the police knew, had suicide vests on. Thanks to the bravery of those few the incident was over quickly.

I'm pretty sure I saw this same anecdote somewhere on NSC yesterday. It just sort of keeps floating to the top, I suppose..........

You sure you want that clown running this country? If the answer is yes you need to have a word with yourself.

And Diane ' Car Crash' Abbott wants to wipe the DNA database of known terrorist suspects..... I'm all for peace, but that's not the world we live in.
A commander in chief who isnt prepared to even consider using the ultimate force if a rouge state was to actually attack our nation, effectively means we have no deterrent, Its a dangerous world and this bunch of marxist utopian 1970's throwbacks are about as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. praising the socialist revolution in oil rich Venezula that now sees canabalism, hype inflation, empty stores and no work. Bring back Blair or Brown or anyone else from the moderate wing of the Labour party, this lot are a bunch of dangerous, delusional communist quacks.

You do realise that is a lie and has been reported to the police as it is against electoral law to do such a thing in a campaign

said she wants to wipe the database of anyone whose not convicted.... that would include many who fall in that category and may others who are later linked to a whole range of historical crimes. If youre innocent you have nothing to fear, i have no qualms of my DNA being on a database as I'm not a criminal nor a terrorist.

so the report said:

In the News at Six report, Kuenssberg said she had asked Mr Corbyn "if he were the resident here at Number 10 whether or not he would be happy for British officers to pull the trigger in the event of a Paris-style attack".
He was seen to reply: "I am not happy with a shoot to kill policy in general. I think that is quite dangerous and I think can often be counter-productive."

but that wasnt the actual question asked for the reply, the actual question Kuenssberg had asked during the interview was: "If you were prime minister, would you be happy to order people - police or military - to shoot to kill on Britain's streets?"

to which Corbyn replied: "I am not happy with a shoot to kill policy in general. I think that is quite dangerous and I think can often be counter-productive."

Why, with people lying dead in mortuaries, others critically injured in hospital, are posters trying to make political capital from yesterdays outrage?
