And which party increased tuition fees to £9000 and which party is increasing the fees every year to 2020 regardless of the quality of teaching? - That would be the Tories. I would have thought that was obvious

And which party was in power when house prices rose over 400% during the 80s? - So 22k in 1980, 61k at the end of 1989 and 60k in 1997. So that's a 400% rise is it? You must have been the one who did the Labour Party costing for this election. It was a 180% rise in 17 years under the tories in the 80s and 90s, not accounting for inflation. 1997 - £58k when they got their marching orders in 2010 £168k . Please don't blame the Tories for the housing crisis that Labour set in motion.

As for travelling in Europe, no free movement so maybe visa's, border controls, lower duty free allowances, wonderful.

I think in the present climate, yes please. PLEASE!!! Lower duty allowance. OMFG really. Lets stay in the EU so Studio150 can keep his duty free! And the say Tories only think of themselves. The hypocrisy is up there with Russel Brand. You're not Russell Brand are you?

The Conservative party does not have Dianne Abbott, John McD
onnell and Jeremy Corbyn as MP`s.
The Tories are the only major party that will deliver Real Brexit.

I may have missed it (more than likely) but I haven't seen any of the Tories Brexit plan in the manifesto?

So I'm not sure how you can say that?

tubby I can't take anything you say seriously until you finally admit that it's unfair for the taxpayer to subside low paid workers.

As for my list, which of it is wrong?

You've made it difficult for me to travel - the golden age has had years of free movement.

My mum 50 got free university education- mine has cost me £27,000 before we've even considered maintenance.

Golden age has had a lifetime of free at point of service healthcare. Tories have sold a lot of assets to private investors already.

cheap affordable social housing for you.

Expensive rents for me from private landlords - probably mostly owned by people who had loads of social housing opportunity

Extortionate childcare currently averaging @ three quarters of a minimum wage salary per annum.

You'll have missed how much their policies are going to cost too

Can you honestly think of anything positive from the Tory campaign? It's just be so uninspiring and offers nothing to look forward to really... I bet you there's an awful lot of votes that are against labour rather than for the tories. Hence the polls that show labours policies having a huge majority in terms of satisfaction, but corbyns lack of support undermining it all.

What do you mean? who is satisfied? Presumably those who have bought JC's goodie bags and think -Oh, it's free, I must vote for that, with out giving a thought as to who will foot the final bill.

tubby I can't take anything you say seriously until you finally admit that it's unfair for the taxpayer to subside low paid workers. - In the short term no. In the long term, yes. So what's fair about taxpayers, not subsiding but paying for those out of work? People who are provided housing, money for clothing, money for food, yet still afford a car, satellite TV, their 20 fags a day. Social security should provide people with a basic roof over there head, food in their stomach, and clothes on their back. Unfortuantely the tax payer is also footing the bill for a lot more than that right now. And until that changes there will not be enough money to go round.

As for my list, which of it is wrong?

You've made it difficult for me to travel - the golden age has had years of free movement. - And look where that's got us. Why will it be difficult to travel after Brexit? So you may need to apply for a visa. It's not exacting the most difficult thing to do is it? And that will proably be worst case scenario. I would surprised if there wasn't visa free movement between the UK and EU passport holders. Just show your passport and have it srtamped. Not the end of the world is it.

My mum 50 got free university education- mine has cost me £27,000 before we've even considered maintenance. - What are you study? I think some courses should be free. Depends what it is. If your study to be a doctor, have it free. It you are study law to become a solicitor, pay for it!

Golden age has had a lifetime of free at point of service healthcare. Tories have sold a lot of assets to private investors already. - We still have free healthcare as far as I can see.

cheap affordable social housing for you. - Been there, discussed that over and over. Labour are more to blame for that in my opinion than the Tories.

Expensive rents for me from private landlords - probably mostly owned by people who had loads of social housing opportunity - We need more social housing I agree. But then people renting out second homes, should be taxed for it. You won't find me arguing on that point

Extortionate childcare currently averaging @ three quarters of a minimum wage salary per annum. - Sorry, but why should the tax payer, pay to look after your children? What's next, do you want the taxpayer to send you and your children on holiday?

The saying goes "people these days don't know heyve been born...."

No you don't know YOUVE been born

I am sorry, but as someone who have regularly visited Africa, I have seen what poverty really is.

If wanting the government to pay for your university education and your child care, then YOU don't know you've been born.

Social security should be there to help those who cannot help themselves. Not pay for lifestyle choices.

Mother Theresa now says she will rip up human rights laws to prevent terrorism, more like to protect her and her party and their paymasters and do nothing about terrorism

****ing good. About time

JC can moan on all he wants about cuts to the Police, but the blunt truth is we know about most of these terrorists, but cannot do anything to stop them. Short of handcuffing a copper to each one of them and following their every move, how do we stop someone hiring a car and driving it into people.

To complain about cuts to the police is frankly insulting, when you don't give them the power to do anything about it.

They know who most of them are. They have no powers to act, and I think Boris was completely out of order in his comments about the police and intelligent service earlier.

Throwing money at the police isn't going to help as much as giving them more powers will.

And the alternative is a Labour Government lead by someone who has voted against every anti-terrorism measure put before him.

That would work well won't it!! Labours idea is to throw more money at the police, and take all their powers away. That's ****ed up even by JC's standards!!

Its little surprise the jilted generation are not voting Tory since 2010 they've been screwed over. But they need to get out and vote. Its a golden opportunity for a change in British politics

Obviously this is anecdotal, and I expect a clear Tory majority to be the result, but as a 26 year old I've never known my friends and social group to be as interested in politics as they are now, mainly due to Corbyn. It'll be interesting to see if there is a significant increase in the youth turnout in this election, I hope there is. Even if you don't agree with how they're voting, young people getting involved in the democratic process can only be a good thing.

I'm entitled for wanting free healthcare, education and right to travel as my elders had?

A more understanding would consider it fair. My entitlement.

Take take take but give nothing back to the children. The children say enough is enough and say I want want what my parents have had - then they get called entitled.

You clearly don't care. Just an I'm alright jack who's had his day and not willing to let the children have their day.

The older generation considerably outweigh the young. This strengthens the argument to lower the voting age.

As mentioned elsewhere.... Corbyn is promising them the earth, and it will be of minimal cost to them. So that fits with the under 35's in this country who in general have this sense of entitlement, never having anyone really say no to them before,.... also as said here before, it will actually depend if they can drag themselves out of the student union bars, beard trimming salons or indeed their beds to register a vote,... its a tall order of course.

100% agree with this.

The baby boomers had free education, free healthcare. Lots had jobs for life with decent pensions. They own houses that have rocketed in value during various property booms and due to the policies in the 80s had lots of incentives to get onto the housing ladder.

Yet they make scathing remarks about entitlement, and when the latest generation of kids (probably the most informed possibly due to things like social media and the internet) finally engage with politics then those kids are labelled as lefties who are virtue signalling or cucks or appeasers.

I totally respect that generations before and after mine (gen X as it's known) have opinions that may differ and tbh I'm proud of my kids for challenging and questioning things. What I'm not proud of is the legacy they are being left with due to the influence of the post war generation.

Yes I'm being quite sweeping with my statements, but who cares? no one is going to change their voting opinion on this thread so f**k it.
