employers dont get to chose what defines full time and it doesnt make any sence they would care if they make a full or part time job, they just employ people to best suit meet their needs. also they dont "know" anything about an employees other employment or their financial circumstances. its boarderline conspiracy to claim company employ people to government determined spec in order that the employee is eligable for tax credits, and wouldnt make sence for governmet either (theyd push them for jobs that dont incurr further state support).

btw, ONS considers full time as 30 hrs.

Awful spelling. Painful to read.

If the Tories get back in I'm taking all my money out of the UK, selling up and moving abroad. Serious about that too. I refuse to live under their yoke another 4 years.

Which country are you considering, and would you come back for the subsequent General Election?

Is it really that important to you, & doesn't that just exacerbate the 'problem' ?
Probably exaggerating, but for the country to be run by people with nothing positive to offer.. Mind you that's probably all of them. They all define themselves by what they stand against, not what they stand for.

Latest Scottish Poll (GE2010 change): SNP 48% (+28%) LAB 24% (-18%) CON 16% (-1%) LDEM 5% (-13%) OTH 5%....SNP extends lead to 24%

I dislike Alex Salmond. He has put himself up for election again, and has a desire to form a coalition with Labour with SNP holding key posts in the cabinet - he wants to be deputy PM! I thought there was no chance of this happening, but it now seems a real likely scenario if SNP can hold off any Labour fight back under Jim Murphy. Imagine the SNP voting in all of Labour's policies in exchange for more & more devolution, its independence through the back door.

I was going to make that point - with a few minor differences, aren't they all much of a muchness?
