The most telling part is that the Head declined to comment and the school won't comment until Monday. I guess it gives them some time to make up their story.

Wonder who she votes for. May be she should be asked to step down too.

So despite the most cynical press onslaught against an opposition leader probably ever, the polling outcome is.....

Lab 35%, Con 33%, UKIP 13%, Lib Dem 9%, Green 4%

That's about a Lab majority of 20-30

Your post would only have credibility if you say who carried out the poll !

Sorry old chap tis Populus today
I was interviewed for that! The questioning was slightly skewed (it was all based round 'Tory or Labour?') and my response is probably marked down as one of the 4% of Greens! *cough spit*

Except of course the media campaign against Foot...or the one against Kinnock...or the one against IDS...or the one against Howard...This one is only slightly different because Ed's own party dislike him too!

I think that anyone can pluck any of the polls that they want at the moment to get the result they favour. 2 weeks ago, YouGov had the Tories with +1 and Populus who did the survey you're quoting had them neck and neck.

If you look at Populus's results at random over the last 3 or so months they have the following:

There's no consistency at all to these figures, all pointing to a hung parliament, I reckon. Ed's more or less ruled out a referendum, the Tories have confirmed one - will Labour's intransigence on this scare enough ex-Tories to return from UKIP if only to keep out a Labour Government? My gut feeling is that there will be just about enough and together with Labour defeats in Scotland to give the Tories the largest single party next election - but only just.

you wish. a Labour win of 20-30 seats, but still well short of a commons majority. and if the Scots really do go to the SNP that win disappears.

Whichever party you support, can anyone REALLY imagine Ed Miliband as Prime Minister?

I just can't see how a bloke who forgets a huge, key chunk of his party conference keynote speech - the last conference before the General Election - can end up being elected.

I couldn't imagine lightweight Cameron as PM, but he managed it somehow. I reckon Ed would be a decent PM, all this hounding from the press is ridiculous.
