Time to top up on Ed to be the next PM. 1000% return on your money in a few hours. Beautiful.

Could someone explain how Labour could form a government without working with the SNP? Ed was categorical that this wouldn't happen. Yes he could go against his word but that would be such a massive lie that he and Labour would lose all credibility in a England which they would surely never recover from.

They probably won't get the 326 seats in total, anyway, to do that, and Labour would take years to recover from the lying beforehand from the English electorate.

They wouldn't do any formal deal, they'd just try and enter as a minority government and hope the SNP + lib dem don't vote them down.

Pipe dream. Its finished for Miliband. He won't even be asked to switch on the Christmas lights in his own house, let alone deliver a Queen's Speech.

Mrs Milliband will probably invite David round to do it.

For all the floating voters that voted Lib Dem in 2010 - what did you expect? They held the balance of power, they helped the economy recover, they restrained the Tories, the coalition ran the full course and now they face total annihilation. What more could they have done as the smaller party in a coalition?

Off to bed.

And cheerio to a fairer society, but also hopefully to Nick Clegg, Ed Milliband and a hasty retreat to the back benches for Ed Balls as the electorate don't like him.

This Labour bloke in Stoke sounds like an absolute nob. Incredible levels of bullshit on display.

So potentially, as the polls go, so far, the big names we're looking at losing are Balls, Baker, Alexander, Galloway and Farage....?

Tristram Hunt "I think it's been a great election campaign."

Yes Tristram it has.

Sussex to be entirely blue apart from Brighton Pavilion with an excellent local MP in Caroline Lucas, Norman Baker losing...Ed Ball losing...George Galloway losing...Tories increasing their votes and seats across the board and something north of 310 seats...

If even a few of these come to fruition then it would be a great election. Get most of them then that is quite incredible. Get the lot and I think I've died and gone to heaven.

Farage losing would be the cherry on the cake.
