Labour back in the lead in the poll of polls:

Tories are still strongly favoured by punters at the bookies, and you can get sell on 288 seats with sporting index. Looks a good bet to me, as I think they'll end up somewhere in the 270s. Political betters tend to overestimate the Tories: they did at the last election; and their seat projections with bookies is noticeably higher than the pollsters.

BBC poll of polls have conservatives ahead. I'm with the bookies. Fill your boots though!

Not doubting you on your poll but the Guardian of all papers have released this about 20 mins ago.

So Ed is promising no deals if he can get a minority government. This is desperate stuff. Assuming he isnt lying to us (and ne is a politician so who knows) and this hapoens then it will be such an unstable government. He will only put forward bills that he guesses will get snp vote otherwise he falls over. That means the seperatists will hold sway

Yep....
SNP leader Nicola Sturgeon has been accused of craving “power but not responsibility” as she threatened to block budgets that don't meet her demands.
Facing questions from a BBC audience, she said: “If Ed Miliband forms a minority government then he will not get his policies through without support from other parties.

"That means we [the SNP] can exercise big clout.”

Whilst watching QT last night and Miliband kept referring back to JENNY did anyone else think they were watching Forrest Gump?

Labour may hold out for a second election where their Scottish vote may increase if the Jocks realise the alternative is a Tory government.

Possibly not but i suspect far more than most. And i guess the last economic mess Labour left us in 1979, the last time they were in power, had nothing to do with them. The IMF loan was a mirage, the winter of discontent conservative propaganda. I am starting to get this Labour thing, its quite fun making things up. Love George xx

Exactly this, according to the looney left history of politics only starts with Thatcher, funny how the older labour supporters on this board never go beyond the Iron Lady.
