So you prefer a Scottish MP who will receive NO votes in England to rule England, break up the union and strip this country of it's nuclear defence and get the South to pay for Scotland's debt?....good thinking Batman...

It was a tongue in cheek, flippant comment, not serious commentary.

You don't have to be rich to be a Tory,I was bought up in a Labour supporting family,I was a Union man in the 70s,now a state pensioner..yet vote Tory....why,because I saw the Unions lose jobs, lose production,Labour almost crawling to Red Robbo, our cars were the laughing stock of the world...the tag made in Britain was something to be ashamed of. Now Unemployment is down, wages rising, inflation at the lowest ever...the country is beginning to blossom. Why throw that away with Red Ed who will dancing to Nicola Strugeons tune (who has already stated that most of the Mansion tax will go to Scotlands NHS.) and go back to borrow and tax and debt.
I am by no means rich but I'm not jealous of people who are, they provide jobs,production...squeeze them too hard and they will upsticks and take their jobs abroad, leaving our unemployment figures on the rise..
All the envy in politics will destroy this country.

This isn't the case now...because nothing is made in England any more; "March of the makers" my arse...vote Labour.

Just far enough away from LDC
So the tories have finally found a campaign message that has resonated. Namely

- don't trust the jocks
- the other lot are worse than us

So much for defending the union and standing on your own record in government

I probably would vote Labour if I was on the left of the political spectrum. Don't quite see how you can say 'nothing made in England anymore'...nothing like Rolls Royce areo engines...how come this country is the third largest growing economy...I know it hurts you but banking brings more to the British economy than nearly all the manufacturing.
Vote Labour if you want this country to go back to the union barons and SNP, of tax rises, more borrowing for future generations to pay off, more unemployment...a Labour death wish which other parties had to clear up last time. Milliband wants us to run on the lines of French Socialism...just look how well they are doing...you know the country where we have overtaken in GDP...The country where they put high taxes on the richer society,..over a thousand firms moved abroad to America and UK taking their jobs leaving more people out of work so more benefits paid out..
Socialist policies never work because you will always have somebody richer than you,in any country under any system.
If Labour are so good...and I will include the NHS,how come the whelsh NHS (run by Labour) is the worst in the UK,where patients travel to England to get treated,I agree that hospital bosses are overpaid, some more than the Prime Minister and their jobs should be culled.
I've lived under a lot of Governments since since I was born in 1939 and Labours handling of our country in the 70s was a disgrace,we burnt our fingers....many of the electorate are not stupid enough to put their fingers back on the hotplate.
If it was a choice between Labour or an oversexed Baboon...Labour would not get my vote.

This election campaign has dragged on far, far too long now.

Can't believe much can be said now to change anyone's mind.

Looking forward to staying up on election night, but the next 2 weeks will be grim with more and more dirty tricks and slagging off of opponents.

What an incredibly selective post.

"A record 1 million people in the UK, including rising numbers of low-paid workers, have used food banks in the past 12 months, challenging claims that the dividends from Britain’s economic recovery are being equally shared."

Cameron's Britain, one of the wealthiest in the world....all in this together eh? We're certainly all down the food bank together.

Utter rubbish. Hardly worth a comment but if you remove hospital bosses, who is going to run these multi million pound organisations? Perhaps, like the Tories, you think GPs are best placed to run the NHS.

And in Germany 1.5m people use food banks.
