Schools will still provide, by law, traditional male and female toilets. That is unlikely to ever change.
The OP will have added at least 3 more people to his ignore list by the end of it [emoji23][emoji23]

What got me, this was announced the same week that it was announced that sexual harrassment was normalised in schools and girls asked for nudes by up 11 boys a night
The priorities are all wrong. Something is seriously wrong here. Why are gender neutral toilets in school needed in any way whatsoever, when particularly young girls need more privacy not less of it, given what is going on in this smart phone age.
is it me or has this whole thing only really come into existence (more prominently) in the last 3-4 years?

Oh, for the days of innocence. I must’ve been very naive, but at eleven, I remember walking home from school, down Surrenden Road and a friend telling me that my parents will have had sexual intercourse. I was fascinated because I hadn’t realised that they taken any courses, so couldn’t wait to get home to ask them. My mum told my dad to enlighten me as to what courses they’d been on, but when my dad started on the old birds and bees routine, I had to inform him that I was fully aware that men’s willies went in ladies holes and that a wee took place. The look on his face remains with me to this day.
Its not just you, it seems a lot of people are going through what you are going through right now. But I'm sure most people around here are going to support you.
my head hurts trying to read that. It might just be because my home office is a tad too warm, or because i've spent the day reading old code. But if someone could kindly tell me if i should be sad or angry i would very much appreciate it.
I expect you take their parking spaces too, as it saves you walking so far?Indeed. The whole issue about choice is that people are given.....a choice. Some people's attitude to this issue sounds a bit like their attitude to homosexuality in the 1970s: "they want it to be legal? Next it will be compulsory!". It wasn't, though, was it?
I probably shouldn't admit this but I always use the disabled toilet if there is one available (especially in a busy place like a hospital or airport) because they tend to be cleaner
Am I allowed to say that's a load of old bollocks or is that not allowed anymore?
Sorry for being a complete ignoramus here, but I was never particularly good at biology and I'm also too confused by the gender identity issue.
In regards to biological sex, I assume the discussion is due to this being defined by chromosomes and not anatomy.
i.e. pre-op or post-op transgender people retain the chromosomes of their biological sex, which cannot be altered.
Is that the gist of the biological sex cannot be changed argument?
I would agree that someone shouldn't be dismissed for stating that fact.
However if someone is pushing their gender critical beliefs in a damaging manner and causing issues in the workplace, then that is a different matter entirely.
( I have no idea whether that is relevant, because i CBA to loo into the details of this case.
fortran?
Seems there is now a call for gender neutral toilets in schools.
I just wonder if anyone can inform me what the difference is between gender neutral and unisex toilets.
It need not be one thing versus another, although I agree with The Clamp on this
