I got:

Science - 2 x D
French - F
English - 2 x C
Religious studies - U
History - B
Maths - D
ICT - 2 x C
Geography - C

And I needed 6 a-c for college :clap2:

Not bad for putting ver little effort into my coursework, and no revision :D

well done

but the older I get the less relevant they become !

and is it just me, but in 87 when I did my O levels getting straight A's was unheard of, even for a grammar school with pretty good standards. dumming down to boost the figures ???

When I did my 'O' levels, we were told the grades, but they weren't recorded on the certificates.

Maths, Physics, English Language, English Literature, French, German, Latin, Geography.

I failed History, but that didn't stop me being encouraged to do History 'A' level, by a history teacher who took the view that History 'O' level was a rubbish exam anyway.

Not Luton! Thank God
Its because in those days the teachers spent most of the time teaching all sorts of things, most of which had no relevance to the exam you sat at the end of it. Now it is all focused on getting you the knowledge you need to pass the exams.

Well done, sir! :clap2:

(When I did my 'O' Levels, not only did we not get starred As, we didn't take ELEVEN of 'em either. 8 was about the limit. Not that I can accurately remember the grades of any of mine other than the A in English!)

Well done Hiney Junior, must take after his mother.

Good work Ref, now will you get that Guide Dog ?

I'm not one to spread gossip but I did hear that race took 'O' Sex Education. Allegedly she failed the Oral.

The old ones are the best !
