You could say that any individual's contribution contributed to us staying up. So far as Slo-Jo's contribution is concerned I've never seen him anything other than lethargic, overweight and uninterested. And he played in, what, 31 games or something. Coxy and Jakey and T.Elphick, maybe even Tommy Fraser, will progress in the game because they have a hunger for the ball. Joe Gatting doesn't. Sorry, but that's how it is and no amount of coaching will make any difference. It's not a case of having a downer on him. I just think including Joe Gatting in the first team is not in the best interests of the club. Same goes for Doug Loft.
