The BBC are reporting that the Welsh FA have announced that their national teram manager Gary Speed has died. He was 42 years old and is said to have taken his own life.

Absolutely shocked by Gary Speed's death at only 42.

He was doing so well as Wales manager and has always come across as a really nice person in interviews. I just can't believe it.

Will remember him for being part of that great Leeds team that won the league title in 1991/92, the season before it became the Premier League.

Thoughts with his family and friends at this difficult time.
