As he's out of contract at the end of the season surely they won't get that kind of figure?

Your probably right, If they were talking 2 million in the papers I'm sure the fee would be nearer to the one million mark. They did sell one of there younger players earlier in the year for 3 million to sporting Lisbon dubbed the new 'messi' so I'm sure when pricing this lad there thinking of that big sum in mind!

Yet the Daily Record claim that Dundee United's 'resolve' is being tested by a 200k bid from Sheffield United? Looks too good for League One to me.

After seeing the video I would have thought that he'll get snapped up by a club promising a long contract on very good wages.

Well the papers probably know about as much as we do!

Any way I would not mind seeing some of those tricks from a player in an Albion shirt

Celtic showing interest

Celtic have officially expressed an interest in Dundee United winger Gary Mackay-Steven after an £80,000 offer from Sheffield United was rejected.
The 24-year-old is out of contract in the summer and Celtic called United chairman Stephen Thompson out of courtesy about making an approach.
Celtic hope to agree a pre-contract agreement with the Scot.
Blades manager Nigel Clough had hoped to secure Mackay-Steven's services during the January transfer window.
Clough tabled what was his club's third bid for the winger after watching him score in United's 3-2 win over Hamilton Accies at New Douglas Park on Monday night.
But Mackay-Steven recently revealed that he expects to stay with Jackie McNamara's side until the end of his current contract.
Mackay-Steven, who has earned one cap for Scotland, moved to United in 2011 from Airdrie United and has scored 27 goals in total for the Taysiders.
