Lord B and I shall be loitering outside the South Stand before the game tomorrow so do feel free to cross our palms with the modest sum of Three Great British Pounds in exchange for one of Gary's Testimonial Programmes.

We are not alone in bawling out our wares though because there's people selling it all over Withdean tomorrow and supplies are now available in the Club Shop too.

No. But I'm quite happy to shout, loudly "That'll be THREE POUNDS, dear" and, after refusing to accept a ten bob note, help you with all those confusing new pence in your purse.

'Tis a good read indeed, and my copy is also signed by the man himself.

Just finished reading it & was very impressed, the last sentence on the page by Harty,s daughter really brings home the fact that we're coming to the end of an era, I hope when the testimonial is played we give him a bumper payday whoever the opposition is.

If circumstances permit, Gary will be doing more signings too.

Lovely book, lovely chap. And Mr Coach being in the background at the quiz night on the inside of the back cover guarantees sales to the coach family to send to all the old aunties! May I say what wonderful photo's they are!

I suppose I'd better come clean and admit to having been the Programme Editor. A job made so much easier by Gary being brilliant to work with, as are his family. Also, we were enormously assisted by the superb design skills of Mr Bill Swallow.

He might find it difficult if he broke both of his arms in a freak accident of some kind.

Hm. Good point. That has got me thinking. Now I'm guessing that losing one or more fingers in some kind of industrial accident, possibly involving farm machinery, may have a bearing on Gary's ability to do further signings.
