Why was harty not even on the bench on saturday was he injured or just not selected...although i thought currie has something different in his locker a good range of passing decent cross he wasnt very fit.....i would have played hart instead with currie on the bench

MM wanted a striker on the bench... OGH didn't fit that requirement... so, Jakey got the nod on the bench... good decision IMHO... Currie will get match fit only if he plays...

if harty was 100% i would have played him in preference to currie i agree currie could be a decent signing give him some hard training and a couple of ressa games play him of the bench till he is 100%.....but ohhhh gary hart if fit i fill deserved to start

For the last two seasons Gary Hart has been rubbish,i would be suprised if he plays any more than 10 games all season.Good lad but not up to this standard anymore.It is a shame but fact.

Sad to say the only game I recall him looking like OGH of old was when he came on against Swindon. Did miss quite a few games last season did I miss any other good games from OGH?

being dropped for a few games won't do him any harm at all. he's one of the long-serving players (like watson, mayo, jones) who's got into a comfort zone at the club. if he really wants to get his place in the team back, he'll have to train harder and play better every week. he'll either be up for the challenge, in which case he and the team will benefit, or he won't, in which case we are better off without him (and he's been one of my favourite players for a while).
