nah - It's got Steve King's name written all over it. But it would be great to see GH getting into coaching - back at the Amex preferably, with the dev squad or youth.

eastbourne borough would have to be completely MENTAL to appoint steve king - that has the potential to undo the frankly miraculous job they have done in rising so successfully through the divisions

get our youngsters out on loan and use all your Albion contacts.

I don't think we're going to be loaning too many players to the conference any time soon. They are groomed to play a certain way with each other (pause, no homo) and sending them out on loan to the conference will see them playing a different way to how Poyet wants them, plus they'll get kicked about a lot.

Is this not part of the learning to experience competitive football, Agdestein, Bergkamp and Cook have all been loaned out recentky to clubs that don't play the Poyet way and have/are playing with the first team now.

Cant see this tbh. Boro have proven to be a well run club for a number of years and cant see them changing their philosphy overnight. They'd have to go batshit mental!

On what level, tactical, man management, coaching. I would think he would have the perfect CV for it,playing for years in lots of positions, working with the reserves, lots of contacts who have managment positions in big clubs.

Tactical predominantly, and also man management- comes across as a person who wears his heart on his sleeve and would find it difficult to walk away from situations.

a bit like gus then?

for what it is worth, i dont think he would make a particularly good manager either. dont know why, he just wouldnt strike me as the management type. fulfilling a charlie oatway-type role on the other hand
