MOTM again today in Kilmarnock v Rangers. Almost single handedly got the game by the scruff of the neck in the 2nd half resulting in a deserved equaliser. Unfortunately for Killie they conceded in injury time for a heartbreaking 2-1 defeat, cue pandemonium the n the stands as hundreds of Rangers fans spilled onto the pitch. Dicker waving at the fans at full time, could that be his last game in the blue and white stripes?

???

Fabulous player at his level.

I was working with a nephew of his recently.
GD still has his house in Sussex and his family still live down here.
Apparently he talks fondly of his time playing for us and would love to work for us again when he retires from playing.

So there.

I always liked Gary Dicker, I'd like to know what he said to Russell Slade (Rustle Salad, so everyone here knows who I mean!) which got him out of the team in 2009 until Gus came in. I will always enjoy hearing anecdotes from Gus' time in charge - we were SO good when thrashing League 1 for the 10/11 season. I can imagine some of what went on behind the scenes was mental when things were brilliant, but when things turned sour could be even more entertaining!

A much maligned player in some quarters but always did a good job for us, never let us down only lacked a little pace and mobility to be a top Champinship player, been a big hit at Kilmarnock.

A good read, thanks Crodo.
I was proud to sponsor his kit for three seasons, and attended the dinner every April. He is a great bloke.

Was he one of several players who lived in Burgess Hill, in our early Amex seasons?

No. He lived in the Marina, then moved north of Shoreham. As his family still live there it’s unfair to say exactly where.

On social media Leonie doesn’t hide where.
I only only wondered if the Dicker’s had lived in Burgess Hill back in the day.

Great memories of that 2010/11 promotion season. Opponents in League One had never seen anything like it, they wore themselves out chasing shadows, before we went on to tear them apart. GD was a quality midfielder in that fantastic squad.

He's on BT Sport right now playing for Kilmarnock. It makes me realise just how good the prem quality is.

He's just led Killy to a huge from-behind victory, over Rangers (to effectively seal Celtic's 543rd straight title)
