We have signed three midfielders since letting Gary leave, Andrews, Agustien and Conway all probably hitting the player budget hard, as two have come from Premier league clubs and I expect on higher wages than we were paying Dicker.
Am I alone in thinking that none of these three players are a great improvement on Dicker. I would love to know how the scouts rated Dicker compared to the new signings.

Andrews started amazingly but seems just a consistent 5/10 now

Agustein has showed few touches of class but mostly looked poor

Conway has been poor although I didn't go yesterday and understand he was alright .

Dicker wasn't a top 6 champ midfielder but then we are not a top 6 side .

Got to say he'd probably do equally as well or equally as average

Speaking to an orient fan yesterday who was absolutely raving about vincelot . Head and shoulders above the rest by all accounts

This is my feeling and therefore we have wasted some of our player budget,

Dicker is running the show at Rochdale. Agustien and Conway haven't impressed, Andrews is clearly an upgrade.

Swings and roundabouts.

too slow and a poor decision maker at our level. Good at league 1level though.

Dicker's flaws, and Hammond's for that matter, would have been hideously exposed under OG's higher tempo regime.

That's not to say either or both of them couldn't have improved Yeovil (by all accounts) et al, tenfold, just not for us.

It's not the Dicker position that needs attention. Believe in a strike force, when we have one. And for the record, he was fairly dreadful last season.

how can you implement this new strike force?

2 up front? don't think so

I hardly think Dicker is the answer. Vincelot however would have been really useful right now, given our injury problems. I don't remember him ever having a bad game for us either.

That's probably because he wasn't used much!

Gus didn't want to know after his sending off against Burnley.
