The very fact that he signed Adebayo Akinfenwa should tell everyone what they need to know when it comes to their style of play.
I reckon we may as well bring him out of retirement to play under Ainsworth. Got me dreaming of Europe once again!

Seeing as every possibility is now getting their own thread. My money is on GA.

A very 'Brighton' appointment and I haven't seen him mentioned anywhere else. I don't think he's even on the betting odds?

We would save a few quid too on training kits as we could just take the P off and replace it with an A.

Thoughts?

Thoughts? Have you ever seen a Wycombe game? Its a no from me.

Well he's loyal... hang on that's so old fashioned, what was I thinking... Loyalty pah... lol I mean wtf?!?

Long hair, leather jackets... (hopefully) leather trousers...

The more I think about it, the more this makes sense.

A rock and roll appointment for the ages.

Bring it on.

I could see him coming on at the start of games like the Mad Max Fury road guitarists!

Think he as done exceptionally well with Wycombe and not sure if his football is a result of limited resources or a deliberate style. Either way he'd need to show something else elsewhere if he wants to get a job like this.

Although I’ve jokingly suggested Ainsworth before, I do agree he probably needs a mid level step up and success therein before any PL club would take the chance.

He’s a rocker though, and that I admire him for.

That and staying at the club for a decade is something in this day and age.

It is. Though I think there is a chance he would have left Wycombe if Chelsea offered him a £60m five-year-contract.

So your prolonged campaign to oust Potter as our manager was so you could see Ainsworth appointed to the top job.

A wasted life.

Rock and roll appointment.

(Sounds like a late 70s UFO album title.)

Quote from the bbc article:

“He is an iconic figure. He has this aura around him. He is the Wild Thing, that's his nickname, he's in a rock band, he drives a Mustang, he's a proper character.”

Who knew? Lol.

I reckon he’ll prove to be a top manager, pragmatic at Wycombe rock and roll at Loftus …?!? Surely on our radar, our radar love that is.

I've always found him to be a pleasant chap, met him once at a WW game way back.
Hope he does well at QPR, their fans deserve a bit of luck in the managerial department.
A similar position to us, in regards to managers not hanging around for long.
