With apologies for starting a new thread on this, but why did SCR make a brief mention of Gannon's supposed U-turn on the managerial job? It wasn't mentioned in the phone-in (from the bit I listened to). Did I imagine them saying this or did they quickly realise it was complete fiction? Was there any further update on this?

There is a consortium sniffing as well which includes the ex chief executive who sold the players during the transfer window (he resigned soon afterwards...)

I'd imagine he is quite rightly seeing how things pan out before deciding to what to do.

Taking a punt, I'd say the rumours came out of Stockport today because he is in two minds whether to work with them or not.

However complicated our situation is as the moment, it's far more complicated up there.
