feeling a little like this myself,I was very keen after hearing an interview with him and there did not seem to be any grey areas with him he called it just as it was .........but this really has made me a little less impressed.
Yup, me too. I'd rather have a slightly 'worse' manager (and Gannon might turn out to be a one-trick pony) and spend the additional 250k on player transfers/wages.

No. But troll back a couple of weeks, and you will see I announced the details of Micky's departure 4 days before he "left"

You've been posting a lot today, Mr Burns, and keep citing this example. Is that the only inside news you've ever been given and shared on here?

I'm not saying I doubt you (though I do tend to take everything on here with a pinch of salt), but for all we know you could have simply taken a guess last week, figuring the only positive people were offering was the prospect of wembley, with that gone MA was dead man walking, and the board were never going to admit to firing him so it was quit or mutual consent. A cynic might say it was not a particularly reckless guess, one that happened to come true, and now you're riding it for all it's worth...

Fair play. Beleive what you want, but what surprises me is the amount of PM's I've had confirming the same things.

I don't always post what I find out on here, but believe me, there are a lot of people on here who know what I've said, but won't post on here. If you involved in senior football at any level in Sussex, you will find that most things that happen at the Albion are well known around certain grounds. Funnily enough my main contact who told me the news last week about Adams isn't directly involved in Sussex football.

I haven't posted much on here in the past week, but found out a lot today, which is why I'm posting a lot today.

The other thing I found out today is what Micky Adams thinks of the players at the club, but I've already started enough threads so maybe I will leave that for someone else to report.:p

And I'll give you a hint, he's not overly complimentary of them!!

He turned us down before saying he was commited to stockport and hes family didn't want to move south.

So he comes in a double your money deal is he coming to do hes 100% best for Brighton or coming for the money? and what stops him buggering off if hes offered a better deal in 6 months time.

You can't think like that. I've done U-turns and changed jobs due to money. You'd ultimately want to do what is best for your family. I hope this is true, maybe a little less money though  and we get Gammon.

Should find out by the end of the week!

You keep rolling this out as some kind act of soothsaying instead of stating the bleedin' obvious. What next - is Jade Goody going to cark it?

500k over 2 year contract may be? Just under 5k a week? That would not be that mental would it? Also that does not take into account the likely hood of bonuses dependent on us staying up and pushing on next season.

Well I think we need somebody in who's hungry. If Gannon does fancy another helping, he needs to step up to the plate - otherwise Dick's gonna end up with egg all over his face. And we'll have had our chips.

I suspect it's the players who continually let the Albion managers down rather than the other way around, 'Fergie' would kick ass here but would they be much better players with him in charge. Maybe after the inevitable clear out in the summer the £500,000 should go on proper professionals rather than to a manager of rather unknown qualities at the levels we are hoping to achieve (who will probably be sacked within 3 season costing us another few £100,000 in compensation)
