Thoroughly enjoyed Series 1 , looking forward to Series 2 but dread the thought that because its an American production it will be cancelled after Series 5 because the ratings have dropped below the renewal threshold.

Well at the moment there are only 5 books to work from anyways (Game Of Thrones, Clash of Kings, Storm Of Swords, Feast For Crows and the soon to be published Dance With Dragons), and at the rate that GRRM seems to produce new ones they'll be "up to date" on the TV series by the time Book 6 even gets here.

Yes, there are some wonderful bits like this - would have stopped watching some time ago, otherwise.

I did find it hard to follow, though.

This is a terrific show and i have been mesmerised - the blond girl Khalissa is gorgeous and the dwarf superb - Joffre is a proper villain and I have found the actors entertaining and the scenery stunning , can't wait for the second series. have just watched first episode of Camelot and have grave reservations but will give it another couple of episodes.

Almost gave up after the confusion of the first couple of episodes but glad I hung on as the last two episodes were fantastic.
I want start reading the books from where the series left off.
Can anyone tell me which one to buy and where do I start?????

A Clash Of Kings - that's book two in the series and the book upon which next year's TV adaptation will be based.
