Thought he we do well at Arsenal- started the season well - but can’t knock him - he is part of a team that sit at the top of the Premier League

Jesus is a fine player IMO.

City sold him because he was past his best and didn't see Arsenal as direct competition. Not many disagreed at the time especially with Haaland on his way, in fairness, but he's obviously been exactly what Arsenal have been missing. What I like about him is his invention and intelligent running off the ball. City should have let him go to a big club abroad, but it's good for the league that they didn't.

I s'pose so, sort of, yes.....

He's played for big clubs though, whereas Maupay has no pedigree. C'est la vie!

His movement and link up play is very good. So is Maupay’s. But his finishing is extremely suspect.
It hasn’t been for Everton, he has been dire after his first couple of games.

Almost Maupay-like with his finishing recently, but Jesus does add value with his movement and assists.

Jesus is a quality, top level forward. His touch, running with the ball, pace, strength, positioning and awareness are in a completely different league to Maupay’s. He’s a much, much, much higher level Maupay.

Maupay is in the Huckerby zone, he’s too good for the Championship and not quite good enough for the Premier League.

A slightly higher level Welbeck would be a more appropriate description of Jesus.
