So how should we pronounce it? I looked up a pronunciation website (as you do).

Östersunds is Ostersoond

Not really, Ostersoond. The letter Ö sounds like this:

Meaning its more like "uhstersund" or "uhstersoond".

Östersund is in the middle of Sweden, meaning that it is pretty ****ing far north to any normal human as abouth 90% of the population lives in the southern half of the country. Its pretty isolated, 100 miles from the nearest city.
