I once trained it to Hull only for the game to be called off as we pulled into the station. We ended up watching a Doncaster game if I remember.

I was living in Leeds and (very) briefly going out with someone living in York. I went to see her for the weekend and we had a big argument so I decided to go to the football.got a coach to London, slept at a mates, got down nice an early and managed to get a lift back up north with some away(Hartlepool) fans who lived in Leeds.

1-1.

Andy Kennedy scored for us.

Back in my Navy Days in the late 70's when I was based in Faslane I would travel down on the train on a Friday at midday to get back to LA at about last orders time then do the Albion home game then travel back on Sunday at about 4.00pm to get the overnighter back to Faslane.
