Carrying on from "How far do you travel to home games"

What is the furthest you have traveled for a single game?

My team in Australia has just made the grand final so I'm flying back next week for the game and straight back in time for Barnsley

Brighton to Sydney.

Okay, so it wasn't the reason for the trip, but I only saw Sydney FC the once.

Here, there and everywhere
Carlisle, Hartlepool, Exeter and Plymouth for Brighton games

Greece, Bulgaria, Malta and Helsinki for England

At France 98 I got a morning flight from Paris to Marseille for the England match, then flew back to Paris for Germany-USA in the evening

I did Torquay away from Kent for the 3 round of the FA cup a few years back by myself, at the age of 14. 6.5 hours each way by train, and we very nearly drew 0-0!

Philadelphia to Heathrow for Fans Utd. Monaco to Southend (now that is a book end) for the away opener where we lost 2-0.

Does flying from New York to watch us lose 5-0 at Selhurst Park count?

The young Miss Bracknell flew from Fiji to see Adam Virgo's goal against Swindon in the second play-off semifinal.

IF brighton turn it around and do make the playoff final at wembley then I would be travelling the 11781 miles (18960 km) to watch the albion at wembley for the one game.
