I did the 150 mile roundtrip to gillingham for 2 years as a STH (which was more of a donation than entertainment!) and then for past 9 seasons I've been doing 160 mile roundtrip as a STH. But this is my last. I'll still come to occassional game but increasing costs of fuel, relative expense of football tickets and other commitments, friends who I used to go with no longer doing so and the fact that withdean factor has finally finally really got to me means I've not renewed for 1st time in 11 years.

It feels like a big weight off my shoulders if I'm honest.

That will be the coastal route -- when the aa done the time they must have been driving on Xmas day! No tractors or caravans! can't believe it!

I go with Neil and Helen from near Yeovil so I go by the A303 which is slightly longer in miles (20-30) but not much different in time.
It takes 4 and a half to 5 hours to Brighton during the day, and 4 hours back at night, normally, but this time of year - who knows!

In a cave
Graham who was a member of the BHAlbas used to come back for nealry every game from Edinburgh! He had now been posted to Singapore for 2 years but has kept his season ticket and managed 6 games this season. He landed this morning for tomorrows game!

I use his spare tickets for each game for mates who no longer have season tickets but still go along to most games!

He has already renewed for the next 2 years so if you ever need a ticket for a home game let me know!
