These might not happen but assume they do for the purpose of the poll

Portsmouth failing to make the play-offs, never mind promotion
Sheffield Wednesday being relegated despite having their 12 point penalty for financial irregularities halved
Wayne Rooney's Derby going down
Celtic winning nothing, never mind 10 in a row
Liverpool finishing outside the top 4
Swindon Town going down to league 2
Reading finishing outside the playoffs

Sheffield Wednesday for me, just ahead of the skates. Bournemouth losing in the last minute of the play off final would rival these but it's a bit of a stretch to include that scenario at this stage.

Celtic and Liverpool disappointments have also been splendid value.

Wednesday, Derby and Liverpool would get my votes, hard to pick just 1.

Got to be Wednesday.

#Tw@s have never won a playoff game, so for them to get there,, and lose again would be comedy gold

I appreciate this is very wrong.
I also totally own the fact that I will be incredibly two-faced when the reverse does actually happen, but:-

An Albionless England not making it out of the group stages would probably make me laugh most.

My loathing for Maguire, Gaz S, Kane & Sockboy for me, right now, makes England hard to love.
Sorry Sheebo.

(Until they win and I'm screaming 'i knew it, I always believed in them')

1. Wednesday :lolol: relegated. Can't stand their fans.
2. Reading failing to make playoffs. Again, can't stand their fans.

Not actually fussed about Pompey. Rivalries are boring when you never play each other.

All of them are brilliant.

Pompey for me though. I'd prefer them to fail in the play offs but bit risky so let them miss out altogether.

Won't be long before we start hearing Cowley Brothers out from the morons down there

Agree - all are brilliant and EXACTLY what being a football supporter is all about.

But for me, Liverpool finishing outside the top 4 and winning nothing would be both hilarious and perfect.

Make it so

I remember going to Southend and in the pub pre match and whilst mildy amusing the topic of us having no ground and going out of the football league was huge entertainment for the Southend fans , also I was actually envious of their ground at the time .

So Southend what goes around and all that , Cheerio.

This.

And I have neve been a fan of casual schadenfreude, especially one that can only be viewed from a distance (lower league clubs and their disappointments).

Wayne Rooney's Derby is my preference as I like to see managers fail when they go to a big club without paying their managerial dues. Trouble is Rosenior is still there as coach, so I am conflicted. Otherwise, Sheff Weds down for me.
