Walk finished today with a short leg from Brighton station to the Amex.
We were joined by Dave's Wife, two sons, his sister's and various friends.
It's been an emotional experience but quite therapeutic too. I think knowing why we're doing this helped keep the aches and pains at bay.
I've known Dave since we were two years old which as you can tell from the pictures is quite a while.
He was a lovely bloke who would help anyone out, even sometimes to his own detriment, so I was pleased we could do this one small thing in his honour.
It's also restored my faith in human nature somewhat.
The kindness and generousity of complete strangers, particularly football fans from both Brighton and Pompey, has been amazing.
Heartfelt thanks again to all those who contributed both financially and with kind words of encouragement. Best of luck for the rest of the season, I'm going for a long sit down.

Well done, a fantastic cause! St Barnabas looked after my mum during her final weeks (about 20 years ago) - what a tremendous hospice. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
