My 30th is coming up does anyone have any ideas of pubs with functions rooms that are half decent in Brighton. I have a couple of ideas but wanted to see what you think.

It may not be in Brighton, but the Coopers Arms in Crowborough has ample space to hold multiple functions and Dave the landlord always guarantee's you a warm welcome.

Does his cousin Brian do the mobile disco as well. Well good disco jocko he is. He has got Dancing Queen, Agadoo and Dancing Party by Showaddywaddy.

Upstairs at Fitzherberts is nice but it only holds about 45 or so. Ohso Social on the seafront is good, been to a couple of parties there and they've been pretty good.

no invite for you now!!!!

which place was that?

thats 51 new people then!

Was it Preston Park Tavern? Phil wore a fetching yellow suit:lol:

Weren't you the DJ?

In fact you must have done most places in Brighton.

Above the Cricketers is pretty good, has 3 seperate rooms rather than just being one big hall. Think you just have to guarentee to take a certain amount behind the bar.

Good call, the Greene Room. Expensive beer but good pub. You may even get to see the Lion.

My mate had half the bar sectioned off recently for a wedding reception in the Sussex, in Hove.

Above the Albert is also a good room.

I had my 50th in the room above 'Circus Circus' (crap name) which is at Preston Circus. There are actually 3 rooms, one for the bar, one for the food and a bigger central one for the disco. I think it holds 120. Cost about £30 per hour and the bar was open to 2:00am

Another one I've been to is above the Open House by London Road station. Only one room (as opposed to three) so it's a bit smaller.
