I've just done an arrangement with a Hosp DJ and he told me, probably the line ."Goodbye my friend its hard to die, when all the birds are singing in the sky" is probably what you don't want to hear on your headset in ITU.

I love when 8 out of 10 has Ivan Brackenberry on, but is hospital radio and a hospital DJ really a thing in England? Had no idea.

It was definitely there when I was in, almost 2 years ago... I never bothered with it though.
A guy I used to work with said he resigned from hosting a hospital radio show because tbey would not let him play certain records. I forget which. ...Personally I think it is all too restricted. If I was in again, even if it was the end , It wouldn't worry me.
Mind you, When you are really ill and low, the last thing you want to do is listen to "pop" music...
