Heads up, live coverage of first moon landing since 1972 on major news networks. Due to touch down at 11:24pm, will be fascinating to see a little bit of history and absolutely astounding it's been more than 50 years since the last landing.

Is it true they found some of the golf balls that the astronauts hit during the last moon landing in 1972?

Or this picture frame?

Apollo 16 astronaut Charles Duke left a framed family photo on the Moon’s surface. On the back it reads:

"This is the family of astronaut Charlie Duke from planet Earth who landed on the moon on April 20, 1972."

Charles Duke was the youngest person to walk on the Moon, aged 36 in 1972. (87 years old now) Exposure to radiation from the sun has most likely bleached the photo completely white by this point, but the sentiment stays the same. Best dad ever? He did take his kids to the Moon after all.

Whatever happened to Meade's Ball? Used to love his eloquent cryptic posts
I went to the pub last week on the day i lost my glasses. Now, i was fine ordering a pint of Staropramen and asking for a vodka and cranberry for a woman who looks like she loves me, but i wanted some crisps and had to reveal my blindness in order for them to read all things to me. Normally, i opt for something with a meaty, vegetarian flavour. Bacon without the boney debris of a backward piglet. This time i had to settle for ready salted and a reddened shamed face yet to be alcoholised.
