You repeat this mantra all the time. Give it a rest. People have been calling you out for months as the iceberg approached. Hit. Put a waking big hole in the side. Now we’re sinking fast and still you’re in a state of delusion. Talk about clutching at straws, what more evidence do you require before you’ll admit Potter isn’t good enough nor are his players?

We have ended up with an unbalanced squad. Too many similar lightweight players, all bought to fit the dream of Potterball. Too much experience binned too quickly. All hopes pinned on one style of playing with no plan B. Poor set piece execution and defending. If he gets a tough time on here, imagine what it would be like at the Amex. He and TB would have got the message by now. He is trying to play open attractive football without the firepower to get results. We look better with less possession and on the counter attack but that isn't on the agenda.

Potter is obviously good enough and even our players are also good enough to stay up.

Barring an incredibly freak final 11 games of the season, we will stay up.

A couple of wins, everyone will be relaxed again, and the negative nancys will all disappear again... until the next spell of poor form.

Well, you’ve more faith than me. I admire that. Can’t see us surviving the relegation battle simply because we’re so soft and lack grit. This permeates from the manager downwards.

You are right Potter (and the players) has had a tremendously easy ride without the fans being in the stadium.

Puts our Liverpool victory into perspective.

Newcastle is a must win game, but then again, they are all becoming like that.

And our record in those recently isn't exactly reassuring..

If you dont like it you also know where the door is.

I supported Brighton long before Potter showed his face and will do so long after he’s gone, thanks.

Fans of some clubs are able to help their teams though so maybe results (at home at least) would have been better... if Brighton belongs to the "some club" category.

Posters like you drive me crazy. Was it the managers fault that we couldn’t finish multiple chances against Palace? Was it the managers fault that we missed TWO penalties, was it the managers fault that the keeper flaps at a cross that costs us a point yesterday.

Our manager has set us up to win games the players have let him down spectacularly. If you can’t see that you don’t understand football.

*GONG* You just lost the argument right there

and Swansman goes off to follow him there, still the long standing Brighton supporters who don’t share his vision should be precluded from having a view A1X.

I totally agree that Swany et al are quite entitled to their views, but for them to be able to voice what they want, they have to accept those who don’t share them are allowed to hold and voices theirs. Not tell them to find the door. Doesn’t seem that way though

He’s the manager. The buck stops with him. If he doesn’t like it he knows where the door is.

Even if we get relegated he will be the manager next season. If you don’t like that go find another club as we don’t want to hear you moaning all next season as well.

What is an incredibly freak final 11 games?
We have United and Chelsea away ( defeats ) City home ( defeat )...That leaves 8 games. Everton at home will be difficult and another likely defeat. So 7 games to take 12 points. As already stated, how are we going to win 4 out of 7 or only lose 1 out of 7?
