When we went 3 at the back against Southampton we looked crap Why repeat it here unless didnt have the balls to leave Dunk out. Estupinian is a very good LB. Why does manager now think he is a WB .

Some seriously childish over-reactions in this thread.🤣
It’s a match day thread after a loss. Same every time. Just note the usernames of the hysterical ones, and either block or make a mental note to disregard their opinions going forward. If they get this emotional and histrionic after a defeat in the football when we’re 5th in the PL in December, they probably aren’t worth listening to generally.

Why is there always at least one moron who decides to make some ludicrous OTT display of hating our current manager their personality trait?

It really is quite perplexing.
Mate.....there is a moron fix....

So Clattenberg thinks if the referee misses the foul on Dunk VAR should NOT intervene. What’s the point of it then?
I've got to admit, I'm a little unclear if clear and obvious error is still a thing. Nobody seems to refer to it any more

Some serious flouncing going on tonight. I've just finished watching it. I thought, for the most part, it was decent performance away from home. Error for the first, unfortunate own goal for the second. And calling for a foul on Dunk, there really was little in it. He was in the process of throwing himself at the ball anyway.

I thought the move to a back four may have come on the back of the old juggernaut, Traore, coming on.

Thems the breaks. Over to the cricket.

Standard Fulham away performance, the atmosphere, or lack thereof, kind of suggested even the Fulham fans are bored by our pass, pass, pass, pass lose master plan… we were playing in slow motion… and paid the price.

Leicester will fly at us… I fear we need to be FAR better to stand a chance of result on Sunday.

Could be grim few weeks :/
Yep see us losing that game followed by a couple of draws then lose to Villa

I would be so pissed off if I was Tony.

Watching Baleba stand on the ball. JP prancing around in the last two games. Dunk going straight into the team. 5th in the league looks great but we had more points tis time last year and we don't have the menatlity to challenge the establishment'. Fab says the right things - you've got to be ruthless but I see no evidence of this on the pitch. Adringra jogging around etc.

Starting Dunk tonight was the opposite of being 'wuthless'.

Frustrating game, controlled it for large period but never looked like winning. Seemed shaky at the back. Get Joel back.

I’m a bit like that. If the referee misses something I would class that as Clear and obvious (but may or may not be an error). If the referee sees an incident and decides it wasn’t a foul, then VAR should recommend a review if it thinks it was a clear and obvious offence. I think.

Glenn Murray was angry and certain it was a foul on Dunk. Clattenberg just spoke crap.

Actually to be fair you are right, “sloppy”

Also what it’s it with the squad wide tactic of winning the ball back in or around our box and rather than getting rid of it, try out walk it out

Yep thought apart from the goal Belaba was poor , kept giving the ball away
can’t keep giving teams a goal start , apparently that’s the third mistake this season from Bart that has cost us a goal ,
did not have one shot after we scored ,

I’m not sure the players (or all of them anyway) know the process let alone trust it… okay, we’ve been really good at times this season - well done Fabs in that regard… but at times we’ve looked near on calamitous… it’s really odd… although Roberto, GP all had terrible games too…

I’m going to say it.

It is what it is.

🤔
This time last year we were playing in Europe had no Mac or Caceido, no £200m investment and were 2 points worse off.

I'm glad I don't bet on football anymore! How do we beat the likes of City?! But then lose by two goals to Fulham! Football aye.
Seriously? This is a very unsurprising result. I think we’ve only ever taken 1 point at Craven Cottage - a 0-0 in 2020-21. It’s just a ground that we’re always terrible at. Even during the purple patch at the end of Potter’s time we managed to look awful.

Something about the place just does not suit us.
