I think March is magnetised- every time he goes for goal the ball is repelled from the goal in a way that doesn’t look scientifically possible

March is not a natural centre forward about the 30 minute mark we were on the attack March was in a good position unfortunately the attack broke down but in clearing the ball a Fulham player shanked the ball in an open space that a forward like Welbeck would have gambled that such a thing might just happen where as March as soon as the attack broke down was back tracking to take up his defensive position and here’s the problem we are playing with no centre forward and expecting two wingers to take up the slack

Utter cack in the first half. Can we please get a striker on the pitch and some pace would be nice.

That was… ok. Fulham came out the blocks at a frenzy, but after reshuffling our formation they’ve faded and faded - and we’re now running the game. Second half we need to turn that control into chances. Might only be one goal in this.

No injury time says it all really... ended the half on top but don't look like creating much - very tight pitch not helping but definitely missing Welbeck up top
We have no outlet in the right,... Tariq or even Enciso... Undav or Mitoma.... someone other than March at the moment.

Tactical masterclass from GPott changing to a back 4 after 15 mins or so after Fulham had the joy down the flanks. Nulled out their offensive plan.

Have they banned the Fulham fans from singing? Only can hear ours.

Showing how vulnerable we are without an alternative to Welbeck available, still time to go get one…

Absurd number of slips, slick pitch must have been a tactical choice at this point.

Mwepu having one of his off days.

We need some pace on the pitch in the second half, their fullbacks dont seem all that to me.

I didn't realise the London wetland centre had moved to Fulham ???

He was also the only Brighton player on the pitch to make a clever enough run to have any sort of chance in the first half.

Very easy for the rest of the blokes not to miss goal chances as they haven't created any.
You can't defend his 1st half contributions, surely?

Not great on the ball for the first 25 minutes but we were very comfortable for the last 20. Looked strong and solid all game and really confident on the ball for the last 10/15 minutes. Hopefully that will continue into the second half.

Klopp said the Fulham pitch was too dry. A number of our players have slipped, but no Fulham players. Is it because they have prepared for the pitch with appropriate studs?

I'm thinking this could be a game we're really glad to have 5 substitutions available.

I’d keep it tight for the first 20 mins of the second half. Wait til some spaces open up and then unleash Welbeck, Lamptey and Mitoma.
March does usually have his opposite number for pace, but not today against Robinson. Lamptey would possibly be better on the right.
Mwepu looks off the pace.

Very sloppy, the huge number of slips, receiving the ball off-balance, heavy touches - all points to tiredness. Pervis, Caicedo, Mwepu and Webster in particular. Still level though despite our worst half of the season so far.

Really poor match objectively, Fulham pressed well for the first 35 minutes but they dropped off for the final 10. We didn’t offer anything really despite the extra space.

Really missing a centre forward - specifically we’ve really missed Welbeck that half.

Still all to play for!

I’d like to see Mwepu for Welbeck and Lamptey for Veltman ASAP.

I’d like Mwepu off at half time if possible.

First 25 minutes they overloaded our right, very predictable, but that was their one tactic. Mitrovic great running with the ball.

Last 20, a passing masterclass from us, Fulham sat deeper and deeper including Mitrovic.

Well done to the ref, lying Fulham players trying to get our players booked.

Bang on WS. Pretty much exactly what I've just said. Really showed our class on the ball towards the end.

I thought exactly the same. A change of studs at halftime for all please
