After asking if he's been sacked a couple of hours ago, daughter has just run in the room screaming that Mike Dean has made another hash of refereeing. How has he still got a job?

But surely everybody knows that 11 v. 10 is much more exciting for the fans who pay their money?

He doesn't like it up 'im!

Ha! Perhaps he doesn't know the history of where 'soccer' comes from being a foreigner and all that.

To be fair I don't like the word either, but I carried it on. Wasn't mine originally.

I've just been to have a look. Wow, what an incredibly shit decision, yet again. He's not fit to referee.

The last 10 mins sounded like the Alamo. Torture. Great result, if a bit fortunate again. Who cares though.

What amuses me about the tw*t is that he pauses and has a long think before each appalling decision. He replays it in his mind before he gets it utterly wrong. Leaving Barkley on the pitch in the Merseyside derby and then sending the guy off today for a 50-50.

I posted a message on the EFL Facebook page in response to their picture of tonight's league table to the effect of "I know there's a long way to go, but weren't we all told that Newcastle would be walking this league by now?" and got a private message from one of their fans calling me "a smug, gloating prick".

Obviously that's only one of them and, as I said in the original comment, there's a long way to go yet before anything is settled in either direction, but I did find it quite amusing how pissy some of them seem to be getting that things aren't going their way, as evidenced by this and some Twitter and Newcastle forum posts around here tonight. It's almost as if they think the rest of the division should just roll over and give up when faced with the might of Newcastle United.

:lolol:

Just got back from the game. Was a fantastic day out, the whole stand went absolutely mental when the second went in. How many were there? Was an amazing atmosphere
