When I used to drive to matches we always parked by the rowing clubs on the river but had to watch out for the times of tides. Another answer is Tibbetts Corner and get a bus down Putney High St. What is the time limit at Asda Roehampton and a bus from there.

What about parking at Mortlake or Barnes and then bus or train not sure what it is like though.

Given the possible train problems, have been looking to go to Craven Cottage by car but parking looks an issue. Anyone been by car before and any tips please?

No train problems on Thameslink trains out of and back to Brighton, only £10.80 day return plus £2.40 tube fare each way if using a contactless or Oyster card. And you can have a few beers! :drink:

High tide at Putney is at 1703. Its 6.85m AOD measured at London Bridge which is below the 7m level normally regarded as the level above which flooding occurs at Putney.

A bit of advice of those driving

A little heads up for those intending to drive to the Fulham match on Monday, Our PLO has asked us to pass on the following to all our fans as this was sent to coach operators, we (all supporter groups)have 20 coaches in total going to the game.
"Please let other fans know that are travelling to Fulham, to facilitate your parking a tow truck is in operation around this area and will be used! The area itself is very residential with many road closures for the game."
