I'm wondering if the wonderful investigative powers of NSC can help me here.

Yesterday afternoon between the hours of 1425 and 1500 on 23rd Jan 2014, whilst I was attending a meeting away from my desk, a finger of fudge (from a Christmas selection box) was consumed at my desk without my prior knowledge. The empty fudge wrapper was left discarded on the desk in an empty cup of tea.

Anyone who has any information or knowledge surrounding this incident which may bring further light on the investigation is urged to come forward.

A significant reward for the capture of the perpetrator is being prepared as we speak.

I look forward to your contributions.

I'm a little confused here, is the issue that someone at a fudge at your desk or that someone stole a fudge off of your desk and then ate it?

Send a memo asking if anybody has seen the contaminated fudge bar, that was being returned to the manufacturer.

Knowing the way the rules of pocession work in the office environment if it didn't have your name painted on it in Tippex it can't truly be deemed to belong to you. Therefore without this official badge/seal of ownership it has to be be considered fair game for any thiefing scrote who may be passing your desk!

I suggest you purchase an Acme MAN TRAP and bait your table with another funger o' fidge.

You KNOW it makes sense.

Last night, whilst doing some evening work at a company whose turnover pa would have to be in the millions, myself and my partner in crime were asked whether we had nicked a bottle of water from the canteen.

Water? How embarrassing!

I'm just so glad they didn't notice the pear & pecan tarts.........
