I feel really sad about this.

he was undoubtedly a flair player and an " entertainer" and my concern at the moment is that we are filling th eteam with workmen, not entertainers....if that is so then when things get tough as it no doubt will, people will not come through the gates to see workmen....people want some excitement in their lives.....

I wish him the best of luck and thank him for some really good moments in teh Championship.....

And to think last season people were posting on here worrying about Wilkins filling the team with flair players who had no bottle for a fight!? Now we're worrying about having all workman and no flair players? Fickle game innit?

No loss, he wasn't up to British football.

Not sure about that I think he never got the language, he was excellent when the clown first got him, dashing runs, and a couple of great goals, but just seemed to lose interest. Sad for us all I think. Still weve got Fraser, that's alright then......

Except where some of the old-timers are concerned.

He looked exciting on occasions and was obviously going to be a fans favourite but he obviously no longer fits in with the current tactics or players.

Did McGee not say somrthing about home sickness and wasn't that part of the reason for signing Santos?

Bon voyage Alex

It's a shame.

I think it's stupid the whole people using flair as an excuse for being rubbish though. Frutos isn't leaving because he's a flair player, he's leaving because he has been poor and unsettled for a long time.
People claimed Nick Ward was a flair player too, when in fact he was just crap.

:yawn:same old shite, day in...:tosser:

sorry, but if you compare the contributions of the two over their time at the club, then frutos has contributed far more and was obviously the better player. i am not sure how anyone could argue against that

unfortunately it looks as if wilkins has just given up on trying to get the best out of one of our better players, which as some people have said really is a shame

Loft tries where as Frutos has just been a total waste of space. He couldn't track back to defend.Glad another shit player is off our books. He clearly doesn't want to be here. You seem to slag players off quite alot.Loft El-Abd,even Wilkins etc
You think Wilkins just gave up? Like what another poster has said. You talk bollox 90% of the time.Wilkins has decided to keep some of these average players, whether it's the right decision or not at least back the manager and players who still play for this club instead of your constant shit you spout against them.
