Brighton - WACCOE

Work mate of mine is a Big Brighton fan, been going on off since the late 50s , he doesnt get to many games nowadays, but he went to their last game home to Stockport, where they had to Win to stay up and rely on other Results going there way,
Anyway he met The new chairman who has big plans for the club next season, they have signed so far 4 players (not Bradley as far as he knows) 3 from the Championship & one from the Spl, looking to push for L1 next season Play offs are Not unreal;stic according to Bloom, if Millwall can do it why cant they (They beat Millwall h/a last season)

Blooms ulitmate dream would be to be in the Championship by the time they move to their New ground

Four players signed already?? Interesting if true.

What do you think?

Breaking News: Brighton enquire about Bartley loan s Arsenal Youth

League Two side Brighton and Hove Albion are poised to enter talks with Arsenal over the possibility of taking centre-back Kyle Bartley on loan next season.

Seagulls Chairman Brian Knight was in attendance on Sunday as Bartley played a key role in the u-18s title decider with Tottenham at White Hart Lane and, speaking to local newspaper The Argus after the game, said

”We have a good relationship with Arsenal, wehave identified a couple of Arsenal boys we have very much got our eyes on and we are looking to move quickly.”

Arsenal’s Head Of Youth Development, Liam Brady, admitted in a recent interview that Bartley should ‘go on loan to a League One or Two team next season in order to further his development.’

As for the other player in question, Knight is also expected to enquire about striker Rhys Murphy, who scored the winner on Sunday and has many friends in the Brighton area having spent his childhood there.

Even if they did call us a League Two side. Adn who is Brian Knight??

If you read further down they all start going on about how there is no way we will be in contention. I would f***ing love it if we piss all over them next season. Dickheads!

Leeds downfall has always been their disrespect and dismissive attitude of the clubs around them.. just makes beating them all the sweeter.

Rangy defender Kyle endured a frustrating first season at the Club following his arrival from Bolton in 2007.

A series of injuries curtailed the youngster’s campaign and he was limited to 11 Under-18 and two Reserve Team appearances. But the potential is there. Kyle is strong in both build and mind, and standing at well over six-feet tall he brings an added steel to the Gunners’ back line.

The youngster was capped at Under-16 level for England and should he enjoy a run in the side this season, further recognition will surely follow.

Rhys endured a frustrating season last year, hampered by injury, but the exciting front-man returned at the end of the campaign to bag two goals in the Reserve League win over Derby County. That, along with the professional terms he signed in July, should be the platform to an important season for Rhys.

With bags of pace and energy, plus an instinctive eye for goal – in 2006/07 he hit braces in five consecutive games – the Shoreham-born youngster is tipped for the top.

England recognition has already been achieved after he missed the start of the last campaign because of the Fifa Under-17 World Cup.

I thought Rhys was a local lad until I read that he was born "over the border" in West Sussex.

At least there not all twats.

If 12 months ago someone said to us Millwall would have beaten us in a play off semi final to get to Wembley. Would we have believed them? Everything is possible. We're all equal on points at the moment.

Many player contracts run till the end of the May, so come June the 1st we may have some out of contract players signing? I guess nothing can be announced till the exisiting contract has ended and the player signs for his new club. Then again it could be the usual internet rumours that come to nothing.

if they are out of contract on 1st of June, you were allowed to begin talks to sign them when the transfer window opened in Jan 09
